B Swadesi was a proposed online platform that intended to sell products made exclusively in India. The products, although contemporary in nature, were to be rooted in traditional design and celebrate pride in the Indian heritage. The identity aimed to amplify this paradox.
The logo integrated the characters of the many languages of India into a consistent English typeface which was minimal and contemporary.
This visual language was extended into the packaging, clothing and other merchandise associated with the brand.
