Context

The Sri Yogi Naraeyana Mutt is located in the town of Kaiwara. It was built in the 1800s as a tribute to the saint, Sri Yogi Naraeyana. The saint gathered countless followers during his lifetime. His teachings continue to resonate with devotees who come from near and far to visit the Mutt.

In a bid to become more accessible, particularly to devotees outside the state and the country, the Mutt decided to set up a website.

Our Approach

Our scope of work for the project started with the mining and creation of content. We travelled to Kaiwara, visited the temple and spoke to some of the devotees. The ethos of the temple and its spiritual significance was brought alive through a visual identity and distinct visual language.  We also conducted a photoshoot to capture the beauty of the temple and its surroundings.

The website brings alive the teachings through vibrant colours and simple iconography, drawn from traditional motifs. The design elements are used to make the information accessible, establish a clear navigation and engage the viewer.
